The occasion often brings hundreds of tourists to the island along with those that once called Long Island their home.
There are games of chance for the kids, home cooked meals, raffle draws, a bar for the grown ups and an adult dance at the end of the day to cap off the celebrations.
All proceeds from the days’ events supports the Long Island Volunteer Fire Department.
Please note that “Load and Go” ferry service for Long Island Day on July 15th, 2017 from 10:30am to 5pm will be in effect. Please contact 709 264 3271 for more details.
